The Nehru Planetarium was commissioned on 3rd March, 1977. During the last 26 years of its inception Planetarium generated 28 astronomical presentations, which were viewed by 95 lakh astronomy lovers.
A fine socio-cultural and art hub. A tour of the history museum is very enriching. And the planetarium is interesting too!

The library is a few feet below, accessed by an old-fashioned staircase. But it's great for research purposes.
