Great coffee and super customer service. The location in a modern shipping container makes Equator Coffee a trendy addition to Oakland. Look for Equator Coffee in SFO too.
Really good drip coffee and pastries . Be careful with the lids for the to-go cups. Since they’re all compostable now, they don’t always fit very well and could ruin that white shirt you’re wearing!
Equator recently added a new sun roof which makes it now the best outdoor coffee space only a few steps away from Lake Merritt.

Ordered an oat milk cappuccino and it was lovely. Forgot to specify that I was not ordering to go so it was in a paper cup and it was still magic. I’ll be back.
