Smiths Reef is a beach
Turks and Caicos Islands
Walk to the northern most point (where you can see the entryway to turtle cove & the eastern end of Grace Bay ) and head straight out to the reef from there. Best views & calmest water.
Amazingly crystal-clear water and the white sand to go with it.
Very nice place for snorkeling ! But stay away from red buoys (they marks water way for boats from turtle marina ) - it's too dangerous.
Waves are stronger here for snorkeling but less people. Good variety of fishes . Look for the red buoys for snorkel spots. Three in total.
Precious beach ... white powder sand and transparent waters!
Precious place.
Beautiful beach. Slightly more silty than Grace Bay Beach, but also quieter and more secluded. Great sand and width. Pretty shallow and remains so for a long distance out. - Andrew Milner
Beautiful turquoise waters, but very windy all the time, hence the kite surfers everywhere. If you’re looking for calm waters where you can relax on a floatie, head to Taylor Bay or Sapodilla Bay. - Tiffany S
Lobster curry is to die for! So is the lobster club, the lobster ravioli and the conch bruschetta. - Anya
Live music Fridays around 8. Ex-Pat Canadian run with some home favourites and lots of local goodies. Everything we tried was good, reasonably priced, and the best beer prices on the island. - Michael
A very quiet beach, perfect for walks, bathing and swimming. - Shaun
