Beautiful place to spot rare birds , pelicans, etc. Take your time driving through the wildlife and enjoy!
Absolutely one of my top 3 birding hotspots. Met a lot of nice ppl here, sharing expertise, tips & sightings. I try to come here every week from Pennsylvania. This is a must see place
The fee for driving through the wildlife refuge is $4 per car or $2 per bicycle. It's 8 miles of trail , so it's very worth it!
Great place for bird watching north of Atlantic City . Saw snowy owl, Canada geese, black and mallard ducks, heron, white swans, and snow geese .
The premier coastal refuge in the mid-Atlantic. Great for driving the loop and/or hiking the trails .
Love seeing the Snowy Owls on the refuge
@kimberly s - I don't know who you've met or talked to but most are very friendly and willing to share their expertise. However there are a few from out of state who are rude and inconsiderate.
Best birding in South Jersey. Can’t beat the view of Absecon Island either!
The entrance fee is based on an honor system so honor it!
