Tbilisi is woefully short on markets that have any resemblance to American style food stores. Big Ben is not as big as the Goodwill chains and better than the expensive and barely stocked Smart
Doing food shopping in Georgia can almost be a painful experience for anyone from the West. Nearly every item is behind the counter, and Georgians don't do anything resembling Western style service .

Smart is a great value supermarket that you can find both local and imported products for good prices. The diversity of each kind of good is impressive. Has never seen such a large range of beers! - Yasin
