Good place to stop for a beer after a show at the Anthem and let the lines for Uber and Lyft die down before you go home.
The chowder was tasty; lots of meat and veggies but 2/3rds the cost of an entree. Wow! If you have issues with loud places, come early and sit upstairs in the bar . The cement walls block the sound.
Go in early for the good menu before it gets busy and service suffers. The Claypot Chicken Wings and Short Rib Burger are great… the Gruyere & Brie Grilled Cheese is also on point.
Amazing chicken wings and yummy crab sliders . Great vibe for chilling with nice views .
Solid bar food. Loud atmosphere on the weekends. Good spot to watch the game
Cool, industrial spot. Some beers from the tap had weird flavor though.
Can’t really recommend anything. Service was non-existent had to go to the bar to put a food order and stand their in line for 15 minutes. They forgot my beer , and the food was mediocre.
Really big space with a long outdoor patio right next to The Anthem . But food and beer selection were just okay for the high prices.
Good service and food. They need a shade for the afternoon sun.
Take the worst grilled cheese you’ve ever had, then burn it but manage to not melt any of the cheese in the process. That’s what this grilled cheese tastes like.
Great food! The paddock chowder !
Bar bites not bad. Lot of seating for this size bar .
Nice place. Was very loud and busy. The drinks were good but got ungodly expensive really fast.
Awesome music venue brought to you by the same people as 9:30 club. Bar inside is cashless but super efficient. Acoustics are amazing and I look forward to watching more shows here! - Mimi Nguyen
Absolutely fantastic- food was great, the outdoor seating was cozy, staff was friendly and helpful. Get the guacamole and a margarita and enjoy the wharf! - Feld Giesy
Great neighborhood bar, great bartenders, great food. Try the gochujang cauliflower and the Heidi fried chicken sandwich - Sarah Mimms
Seitan wings and Vin's seafood specials are the best! - Jess Owens
Shepherds Pie was amazing. Fast friendly service. Great place. - James Brewer
We always choose Captain Whites for a better selection of crabs & price *****. - Linda Reaves-Beckett
Fresh Virginia oysters are amazing and the brunch hangtown fry frittata is amazing!! Meat is more like Canadian bacon/ham than bacon but still amazing - Jason Jenkins
Great views of the water and strong, strong cocktails. Tip your bartender. - Maggie MacG
