Lower Sabie Rest Camp is a campground
South Africa
Lovely rest camp in the South of the Kruger. Bush walks & game drives available from the camp. Full restaurant & shop on site. Lovely lookout over the Sabie river .
The restaurant , a Mugg & Bean, has an absolutely beautiful setting, and the food, drink and service are all very good.
Be sure to book a morning walk or night drive with ranger Irving! He is the best & is so passionate about game! It will make your holiday so much more memorable!
Sunsets on the Mug & Bean deck: hippos, buffaloes and elephants on a gorgeous setting.
The shop is really expensive & the coffee in the cafeteria was best avoided but the view makes one forget all about such things.
Book in for an early morning walk . It's amazing, and on the level with a night drive , which is a must do!
The shop has a lot of variety!
The restaurant is pathetic! "Eish we don't have schnitzel . Oh sorry the pie is finished." Very dissapointed!
The shop is crazy expensive , but the view is beautiful!
At shop is stunning dvd's from Photos of Africa
Relax on the deck. Beware The Birds! Hahaha Foods terribly embarrassing!
Shop is really well stocked :-)
Trust me, the Beef burger is horrible.
The food at the restaurant is absolutely awful!
Traga seus próprios mantimentos e faça um churrasco . A caminhada matutina vale a pena a pesar de ser as quatro da manhã. Hipopótamos podem ser vistos no rio próximo da janela do quarto.
