Great hike , chilly at the top but gets warmer as you descend. Wonderful waterfall at the bottom. Take the mini bus to help you avoid the final 300m steep hike .

The 25 Fontes (25 fountains ) levada is one of the most popular in Madeira Island . Its name lives up to the number of fountains or little waterfalls that’s possible to count once you arrive there.

Beautiful lake hidden in Nature with a lot of fountains . If you are brave enough to swim in the water is ice cold!

This is the parking lot for several levadas not ONLY Madeiras most touristy one.

Surprised this is so popular, other hikes are much better also it’s kind of awful to descend first and then finish going up

Der Wanderweg an sich ist sehr schön und bietet viele faszinierende Aussichten. Das Ziel der Wanderung war ziemlich überfüllt , was ein bisschen den Charme stahl. Rückweg ganz schön anstrengend ????

Рекомендую первую часть маршрута, не самую яркую преодолевать на курсирующем микроавтобусе. Цена 5€ за проезд в обе стороны. Подкрепляетесь в живописном кафе и вперёд! Прогулка стоящая и живописная.

Хорошая левадка. Можно дойти не напрягаясь по медленной тропе или попыхтеть пару минут по ступенькам) А самый кайф окунуться в ледяное горное озеро )
