Get the seasonal uni ikura rice stonepot ($30) Eat it 2 ways: first stir it like a crispy bimbimbap and then add in the consumme and make it a chazuke congee . I can eat this everyday!????
Ordered sweet potato fries - got meticulously hand cut Japanese sweet potatoes covered in brown butter . Amazing. Also the yakitori is awesome - kalbi with garlic and the chicken thigh ????
Best chicken thighs ! Crispy skin on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside. Also their Tori Zosui is good and so is their katsu hotpot (which is seasonal)
I normally love all the fat I can get, but the chicken skin was too overwhelming for me. The chicken thighs , hearts, breast, and pork belly were great!
Pricey & too small portions!! Service is good, the servers are nice & friendly . If you really wanna get full, be prepared to spend at least $50/pax. Don't forget to order the green tea creme brulee !!!
Everything is good here. From the chicken liver to chicken skin to bacon steak to sea urchin rice hot pot . Do the damn thang y'all. Warm sake for the mood, ya dig
The yakitori here is great, order a bunch and a couple sides of rice , but make sure to check the specials! Some of the best skewers (pork-belly wrapped items) are hiding there...
All of the chicken breast skewers are really good, especially with a bit of the red pepper spice and soy sauce . Make a reservation , or be prepared to wait a long time for a table!
Solid yakitori offering. All the normal items, a bit on the expensive side, especially since each order is only one skewer .
Best yakitori I've ever had! You can't go wrong here. Try the Fatty Salmon ! Seared at your table..
The best yakitori in town . Open until midnight - icing on the cake :)
I liked it, but didn’t love it. It’s also a little expensive to get full while you’re here.
food and service are excellent, if go later evening less crowd
I could probably eat a half dozen dishes of their Green Tea Creme Brûlée . So good.
Love this place, there's a lot of Japanese treats here but don't miss the yakitori !
mocha pudding is great here!
Delicious yakitori !!
Beef with garlic , sausages and chicken liver are delicious!
Izakaya perfection in the SJ! Skewer dishes are amazing here. Order the Premium Plum Wine .
skewers + beer such a good combo.
The grilled meats are delicious
Beef skewers and Yu Dofu uni hotpot

Use the shichimi togarashi on anything pork .
Very small space so if you don't want to eat at the counter, you may want to make a reservation .
Combination dinner is HUGE. They have one of the best miso soups I've had. - Lisa
Get the ramen here! Kimchi/pork ramen (off menu) and clam ramen. - Jennifer
The best five bar in South Bay. Dive bar prices (low) and pours (strong) anyway. Place burned down a few years ago and is all new and quite nice inside. - Bill Bumgarner
Crystal boba is amazing! lychee milk black tea with aloe, egg pudding and boba. So good! - Diana Arz
