I pop in once a week to buy dessert and bread and croissants . Great tasting and good pricing. Macaroons and spinach quiches are best in Cape Town. Friendly service .

All of their macaroons and little cakes are amazing! Over the years I have tried all of them and have never been disappointed!

Come for the macarons - they are amazing, all of them! But the liquorice ones especially, if you're into that of course :-)

My favourite place and a regular here but the service is really not great. They seem permanently understaffed. I just keep going back because of the food, and ofcourse, the macaroons .

Amazing french Bakery/deli, we had the Croissant with scrambled egg , and they also bring the most amazing potato croquettes , all for a good price.

It had a pleasant flavour, but could not be described as a French baguette . I took it back and informed the shop in Newlands.

I offered to let the owner try the bread , but he was unwilling to eat "five days old stale bread ". An admission if ever there was one.

Again I returned with it to the shop, only to be told they won't refund me. They saw and touched the bread and could see the problem. The owners ignored my contact form on their website.

Avoid Cassis. I bought a baguette on a Saturday, but it was very stale. I would say 3 or 4 days old. It was pretty inedible very chewy and tough.

This place is permanently closed. It took us a couple of wrong turns to figure out that it no longer exists

They were not interested. I bought a slightly different loaf, only to find this was stale AND burnt. We're talking danger to teeth stale!

I eventually had to phone them and they point blank refused to refund me and denied the bread was burnt. In fact they were downright rude!!

Service is definitely lacking. Waited forever to be served. After the meal sat waiting for the bill whilst the waitrons stood a foot away having a good ol chat
