Fantastic aquarium . Expect it to be busy and expect a lot of very enthusiastic children (and tired parents). If you want to see the shark feeding get there early and sit on the left for a good view
An excellent place to see and learn about marine species from the world's oceans. There's also a deal with Dartmoor Zoo . Buy admission to one and get half price admission to the other!
The aquarium is fantastic & the people that work there are lovely - don't miss out if you're in Plymouth. It's available for private evening events also.
Excellent tanks with sharks , rays and tuna , amongst others. Also excellent crab , octopus and small tank displays
Come outside of peak hours otherwise it very busy especially during the school holidays. Best buy a ticket on line first and get fast tracked in thus avoiding the q's to get in.
Fantastic aquarium the best I've visited in the UK. The shark and ray tank is impressive.
So many things to see, highly recommend for those who like wildlife .
Amazing place especially now there are fish back in eddy-stone reef :). Also spend some time in the coral reef watching snorkel (turtle ) swim around. :)
Have a go in the 4D theatre - u might get splashed though!
Snorkel the turtle when she was alive was great. now go for the sharks .
Gets v busy in holidays esp if raining! Great fun educational place to visit. Sharks particularly popular with 5 yr old son!
Brilliant view of Plymouth Sound
I absolutely love this place, there isn't a bad word to be said about this place.
Well worth a trip if you are in the area
The largest tank at the aquarium holds 2,500,000 Litres of water!
Superb aquarium ! Truly awful Coffeeee ????
Sadly while we were there for a family trip and day out, the largest tank there was being worked on and that exhibit was closed. Aside from that, it was an enjoyable, if expensive day out.

The biggest aquarium in the UK, I think!!! ????
Awesome fish and much more
Network Plymouth - great to meet up with lots of biz folk
Sharks , seahorses!
Snorkel the turtle ????
Fantastic.. but give the 4D a miss.. blurry all along and not worth it.
Not worth the money. Very basic compared to many continental aquariums .
Not as interesting as expected..
Overpriced for what it offers. There are some nice things to see but it is short and feels as though it is exclusively tailored for the average 5 year old.
Wonderful staff, wonderful place and anything that is dedicated to animals is always good in my books. - Ellie Johns
Wonderfully quirky, intimate cafe-bar with regular live music, comedy and spoken word events. It's slightly hidden away up some stone steps opposite the Barbican Prawn and serves tasty Thai noodles. - Hannah Sterry
Good homemade food, interesting beers and a decent selection of rums make for a worthwhile venue for an evenings entertainment - Chris Weight
It's a wonderful place, you have the lighthouse and beautiful views along the promenade with lots of eateries and boats just a joy to be here - Christopher R Wills
Extremely slow service. Table service only. Don't like wasting half an hour for a pint of beer ! - Robert Knox
Huge selection of clothes shops and the food court is very good too! - Jessica Murcia Malvesado
