"Secret" tip: if you arrive on Saturday afternoon, you can purchase a ticket directly at the gallery- no line at all!- and visit until late in the evening. Plus you don't pay the online booking fee! K

There is nothing better in Florence than Gallery Uffizi! Such and exquisite experience you don't want to miss. If you want to avoid the queues, book tickets in advance .Also less people in the morning.

I recommend to book tickets via Internet earlier, so u shouldn't stay at queue so long. Also we used audio guide, you could listen about all art objects at the museum . The best picture "Tondo Doni".

An amazing museum with a lot of beautiful art pieces. However getting tickets was a hassle, we had to stop by 3 counters to get to the right entrance with available on the day tickets

Excellent Roman sculptures and frescos on the ceilings. You’ll also see paintings from Rembrandt, Tintoretto, de Vinci and Michelangelo . The portraits of the Medici’s by Bronzino were a favorite.

Worth the wait. They have a wonderful Northern Renaissance collection, however I did not know that much of the museum was undergoing restoration. Still, it's a must see if you're in Florence!

A must to visit in Florence! The atmosphere is amazing and really exciting. Museum staff are really nice and always polite however, museum 's cafe is a failure with its ugly chairs and decoration!

One of the best art collections in the world. You find all the old masters here. My favorite was a painting of Bia de Medici that was probably painted after her death. Amazing expression on her face.

They're undergoing a number of renovations to add better lighting and AC for the summer months . Can be very busy in the afternoons, but definitely worth spending a few hours here.

Just stop for what really catches your attention - the collection is huge and you won't be able to see everything in one day. My somewhat funny favorite: Liberation of Andromeda/ Piero Du Cosima.

Easily the best gallery in Florence... So much to see. Take your time and try to avoid the crowds (it's open late Tuesday nights in summer!)

Well organized rooms, we did a group tour which would have been better if it wasn't so crowded . Go very early in the day to avoid crowds. Pretty deck on 2nd floor where you can buy water!

Simply amazing museum housing the Great Tuscan Medici dynasty's collection of sculptures , paintings , icons, and architecture . Situated in the heart of the best preserved Renaissance city in the world.

Filled with art you likely saw and studied back home, but never thought you'd see in person. David's Michaelangelo was one of the most impressive works of art I've seen to this day!

Don't fall into the tourist bait and pay 45 (or the "discounted " 35€ to get in). Go to door 51 (across the street from the entrance)and buy the next available time slot. Reserved line is pretty fast.
