Amazing food for a pub . Try the pasta or any of the entrees. Deep fried mars bar is pretty good too.
Yes indeedy! The Blue Goose Beef Burger here is sublime - add the cheddar and sautéed onions for true mouthwateringness - for me a 1516 not the ale but each to his own -

Went for brunch 'n asked for my bacon to be extra-crispy. I guess the server did not like my request as she came with a burned tray with bacon . She seemed in a bad mood so we ate what we could n left
Save room for dessert (but don't get tempted by the deep fried Mars bar unless you're Scottish..)
