very cool, historical gem! the two docents hanging out- had fun knowledge to share. (like how old telephone poles were repurposed to support the roof's structure )
Built entirely of stones from the Arroyo in the early 1900's, Lummis Home is open to the public for tours Friday-Sunday, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Very knowledgable staff will give you a brief tour of the grounds and house of one LA's early luminaries.
