The venue is famous for its unusual "springy" dancefloor . The Cornerhouse is a good place to meet up before or after a show. The Beatles played at the Ritz in their early days.
Dont wear good shoes the carpets are very sticky. Drinks bit pricey and the draft Pepsi is horrid. Great venue though at the end of the day you come to see live music
First time here and it's a good enough venue.Bar prices were fair enough to a bit pricey .Didn't want to mix it so stayed at back beside merchandise counter - handy for putting drink down.
Absolutely love this venue for live music/gigs. Great gallery . Bring a hip flask as the bar prices are unjustifiable for the crap on offer
Good atmospheric venue for live gigs. Raised stage makes for a good view of the bands.
Great Atmosphere and enough seating upstairs for some who may find 2 hrs solid standing a long time
The Smiths made their debut here supporting the decidedly less catchily named Blue Rondo A La Turk on 4 October 1982.
One of the few places where I could sit on a sofa to watch a gig!
Be prepared to relive the student days (unless you are a student in which case just go and enjoy).
Good venue - they need to upgrade their sound system though. It's a bit quiet compared to other nearby venues.
Expect to stick to the carpet and don't drink the Guinness . Other than that, it's a great venue.
Awesome venue, went to Impericon here. Pre-drink first though as it's £4.20 a pint!
Check their website for set times before you go in. Beer isn't cheap and there are loads of bars nearby
Best venue in Manchester
Authentic gig venue; better than the sexy hotel we all love <3
Fresh juice and soda - pint of £2. Save your liver and your pennies as the beer is £4.60 a pint!
Good venue. The prices of drinks are scandalous though.
Dancefloor springs about in no particular rhythm, that will give you an idea of the dancing ability of the people who come here!
Go upstairs, balcony has oxygen ????
Watch the prices of the drinks here - best to drink elsewhere before gig if you want to have an affordable night out
Fantastic venue. Great sound and great size
The beer here, is dear my dear, so be a doll and drink first, somewhere near!
Despite previous tips, no problems with bar staff whatsoever. Drinks however are incredibly expensive - never paid £4.65 for a JD&Coke at a gig before.
nice place, good for erasmus parties.
Such an awesome venue but the drinks are expensive as fuck!
Check stage times before you go in.
The security ask me to leave cause am alone in the concert !!!! or maybe because am muslim ???? VERY bad experience am so disappointed i'll never come back for sure
Ooo..bouncy dance floor !=)Pricey drinks:(
Fucking extortionate price for a bottle of water!!!
Worst bar staff you'll ever come across, stupidly slow when all they have to do is open bottles and cans. No sense of customer order what so ever.
How much for a pint?! Rip off!
The price of drinks . Fucking disgusting.
Fantastic variety of music on offer - cheap parking next door, and Kro bar cross the road for pub food! - Tastebuds
The Illusionits we're amazing and it's a lovely venue. Will be back! - Amanda Wright
Nice burgers and fries. It can get a bit loud with the bowling though. - Danny Wilson
