Solid all-rounder: decent beers , great food, lovely staff , fantastic setting. The perfect end to a walk; warm and cosy and very welcoming.
Definitely coming back for a Sunday lunch . Chose the mushroom pie and it was amazing. Great Yorkshire puds and proper thick gravy . Will return.
Hot or cold sandwiches are excellent value for around £5-6. Substantial portion with lovely thick chips .
Just had the Black Pudding hash with a fried egg as a starter, highly recommended!

Great pub for cider . Lovely walk along canal from town centre. Busy family food type pub , some relief by sitting outside next to canal . Great service!
BBQ chicken baguette and a pint of Moretti.
Serves food until 9pm except Sunday. We got caught out on that but they served us anyhow as we were only a few minutes over 8pm. Nice of them!
