I almost chipped a tooth on a gravel rock that was inside my veg quesadilla . According to the staff , that rock came all the way from Mexico, where they import their ready-made beans from. Lovely.

Get in early or be prepared to wait a few hours. Food is delightful, great selection of drinks, staff are attentive & atmosphere is always buzzing. Start with the 'Elote callejero' then hit the menu!

SO good! Recommend the Elote callajero (corn ), Tostadita de Carnitas (pulled pork on tortilla chips ), Ceviche verde and Quesadilla de Chorizo . Michelada was legit too.

Favourite Mexican place in the city ! Food that never disappoints you. Although the wait to get a table kills, especially on a Friday or Saturday evening. Try getting there before 6!

Delicious Mexican food and Melbourne's hippest venue right now. Amazing & authentic tacos , quesadillas and burritos . Their fried plantain is delicious, too. Long, long queues & busy but pro staff .

Chargrilled corn and prawn tacos were my highlight dishes. If you're going as a couple after 8pm, you don't have to wait long for a seat.

On a Saturday night, the wait is as long as the wait to go up the Empire State Building. Having eaten Mexican in Mexico, NYC and LA, I'd say that Melbourne needs more good Mexican restaurants .

This place is well worth the wait in line . Take the waiting staff 's recommendations and you'll not be disappointed. Loved the lamb quesadilla and pork belly .

I always get a michelada here. The octopus was awesome, as was the fish tacos . Can't go wrong with the corn either.

Duck tostado and assortment of tacos....was by myself and sat on a bar stool looking at a blank wall! Had to turn around to feel like I was in the restaurant !

Long wait but fun atmosphere . Try the corn (entree) and the chicken dePollo tostaditos. Amazing. Only bite size so order a few!! The margaritas are authentic . Rimmed with salt.

Corn cobs roasted on a stick w spices, delicious! guacomole fresh and lemony. Cilantro used with abundance. Very long wait to get in, acoustics are bad and rather pricey .

Great food! Had to wait - reminds me of sayulita mexico - I'm not mexican but love the food. Ask for a real Mohito - not the granita . Its not on the menu but they'll do it!

The bite size tostaditos are the stand out but seriously EVERYTHING is good. Mexican soda is also very yummy. Great service too.

Street corn , fish tacos and 3 cheese & jalapeño quesadillas = all amazing. Sat at the bar - the dudes there were really nice and helpful.
