Get the Bún thang (a clear noodle soup with vermicelli noodles , chicken , shredded egg omelet , pork and mushrooms ) and the Pho Ga . Both are very light and huge bowls for only 30000-35000 vnd!
Another vermicelli dish you can only have in Hanoi. Slices of eggs , chicken , & grounded meat a little shredded shrimp in chicken stock make a surprisingly simple meal. Recommended for breakfast/lunch.
