Fota is a fantastic place, specially on a sunny day! You can go there just to relax next to a lake , or feed the great variety of birds on it. Animals have gorgeous large open living areas!

A great place to visit! Some birds and small animals (e.g. Lemurs ) run around freely. A truly great experience. You can check feeding times, those events are also interesting.

The park is in no way normal zoo , here you can pet kangaroo´s lying in the sun & chase away lemurs that try to eat your picnic , a special baby enclosure where you see all sorts of new baby animals. Read more

If you enter just after 3:15 you will discover your slow walking route takes you into the main feeding route. Children get food from handlers I they ask. Don't feed the cheetahs .

Great zoo but the tickets are expensive and you have to pay additional 3 EUR for parking !

These animals were not made for the Irish climate. It’s such a shame that this is legally allowed to exist. ????
