Let’s be generous and call this a “functional” lounge , that just happens to be very inconveniently located.
I’m on a 9:50PM flight and the lounge is closing at 9PM! and the lounge is not even 2 min from my departure gate. I truly miss Tegel airport , civilized, friendly and with proper BA lounge .
The food was subpar, but the great selection of whiskies was a pleasant surprise.
Pretty good quality of food and beverages. Don't expect wide choice but comfortable lounge overall.
A little trouble getting in as AA exec platinum does@not state specifically that it is One World Emerald.

Flying back home ...one of the dirtiest lounge I have been in...almost 90% of seet are with dirty glasses and dishes...staff just talking in kitchen...no napkins and no forks

You can pay to get into the lounge , if you fly with a star alliance airline in economy. Worth it, if you have a long waiting time. - Karin Gattringer
