Wide, clean port with daily Seajets and Flying Dolphins from and to Skiathos (where you can connect to the airport ) and other Sporades and Greek harbors .
There is the bus stop there that you can take to go to any beach in skopelos .. & taxi station too.. & if you are renting a bike u can also park it in the free parking in-front of the port .
I'm talking about the beach right near the port . Water and sand is dirty , obviously. It's the closest beach near the city of skopelos. There are some sunbeds . I don't recommend it at all.
We had been on one day cruise on the Alonissos island with glassbotom boat Sporhadi Queen I. Unfortunately we didn't see dolphins and seals as they promis.

Most people were unfriendly. Most of them not local. There is nowhere to walk, sit, the whole port is waste for tourists. Only great place are some rocks beneath the stairs. - Lamprianos Lamprianidis
the seafood is great. especially the shrimp pasta. it may cost extra (18 €) but it's very tasty and the portion will leave you satisfied. the fish are fresh and the environment pleasant. - Stev???? P
