If you are going to Vieques know that there is a line for special passengers, a line for residents and then a line for non-residents which gets in last. line is between the chairs and the orange poles

Tourists have to wait in a separate line AFTER handicapped, pregnant women, and local Puerto Rican residents have boarded. Meaning...you might not get a spot if you're a gringo

Forget about getting on a ferry , even if you arrived early. Watch hordes of people cut the line to join their friends hours after you got there. Finally, just fly to Culebra - cheapish, great view .

process here is a joke. even if you get a ticket, aren't guaranteed on that ferry . all about waiting in line early and all day. it's 2014 and culebra is 5th best beach ? get efficient... use tech...

They have 4 ferries to vieques every day! Plan your trip accordingly! It takes almost 1:30 min to be there

The ferry is cheap ($4 round trip ) but takes an hour and a half to get there. there's a limited amount of tickets so you have to arrive super early to get a spot and it doesn't run on time

Ticket office is across the street from the terminal, and definitely not at the end of the pier down the road . Overnight parking is only $5!

If you don't reserve tickets ahead of time your only real chance to get tickets the same day is for Mon-Thur.

If you want to go to Culebra , be there at 6:00 am. Otherwise you won't find tickets!

If you are prone to seasickness best to ride the cargo ferry and sit all the way in the back of boat.

Hay que estar a las 6:00 am para comprar boletos , abren a las 7:30 am. Solo permiten 1 bolso p/p. Hay que pagar por todo lo que se lleven aparte. Diagonal hay un estacionamiento .

Tengo que felicitarlos porque hoy miércoles santo, todo está en orden y a tiempo.

Las lanchas estan cada rato dañadas y cancelando viajes tanto para Vieques y Culebras. El servicio es pesimo y las filas son kilometricas!!!
