Gumbo kitchen sink ....unexpected in anchorage, tasty and memorable
Bland red beans and rice , terrible. Waitress was sitting at table doing her makeup, never checked on us once, had to go ask to get drink refills and check. No reason to give it a second chance.

Food is very expensive for southern food . Gumbo tasted flavorless and watery. Crab cakes where awesome but $10.50 for 2 small cakes .
Orso has one of the most amazing gluten free menus and wine list I have seen in Alaska. It is well worth a trip here. I'd fly back just for dinner! - Timothy McNeely
