Was here for the installation Dream of Olive. It's a bit far off the town , get here by an electric bike or by car. Nothing much here but a good place to rest.

The view is stunning when the rice is growing. Do not hesitate to wander around. Don't fall in the water. Close the wild boar gates after you enter.

We can enjoy seeing nostalgic view there was in Japan decades years ago and feel slow time and relaxed.

日本の棚田百選にも選ばれ大小700枚を超える田んぼがあります。のどかな風景はどこか懐かしく時間が経つのも忘れそうですが、高齢化に伴い放棄地となっている田んぼも結構ありました。

映画 「八日目の蝉」ロケ地の一つです。小豆 島 霊場四十四番 湯舟山 のすぐ下です。無料駐車スペースもありました。バスの方は中山神社 下車して坂道を少し登ります。左側には瀬戸内海も望めました。
