Think of this as the 'Miami beach ' of Puerto Rico. A lot of tourists but its the closest beach to the VSJ and the surrounding area is full of hotels , bars , restaurants and nightlife.
Pretty Fish ! If you should happen to disregard the boundary line (on accident of course) to the right by the pointy rocks you will be rewarded with schools of fish from Finding Nemo.
Awesome beach for some good waves . NOT for weak swimmers, bear in mind. If someone isn't really a strong swimmer, even going knee-deep might knock them over with the waves . Strong rip tides also.
Great beach .. Very clean and friendly people. Next to a lot of shops. Lookout for the guy with coconuts . They're yummy!
Anyone can rent beach lounge chairs w/ an umbrella for $5 from La Concha resort . Also, there is plenty of $1 beer across the street from anywhere on the beach (gas stations , 24/7's, 24 hour sandwhich
Get here early to experience the 620 sunrise!
During turtle season please respect them as well as their babies, NEVER TAKE PICS WITH FLASH and don't get so close
Very relaxing here! All is warmer than my Pacific.... If you like warmer water- perfect place- great service!
Absolutely amazing. Beautiful and relaxing. You can't go wrong.
Amazing waves , lots of white sand and not very crowded .
Stay away from the rocks and watch the waves ; there is serious undertow and rip tide here, you can get carried away, literally.
Grab a killer smoothie just off the beach on Condado ave at Piu Bello!
Nice beach , calm , not crowded . But, lot of waves .
Nice waves ! Not a lot of shade before 2pm.
Avoid the crowd by the marriott and other strip of malls . Instead, go to the beach from the radisson hotel . This more isolated and "local" pocket is much better!
Gay beach in town . Unfortunately the gays are awful in San Juan. And I am gay ????. So what does that say?
Love it! Quiet , clean , close to beach , Wal-Greens, and restaurants . A/C is primo!
Ocean is always with waves . But thr beach gas golden sand. You gonna like it!
Apparently it's totally fine to use a hotel 's facilities here even if you don't stay there.
50 ft from the beach for some nice rough surf and soft sand to lay out on
So hard to walk on the sand. And the sand is hot, hot, hot, unless in the water.
Great beach and there's security all the time
Nice n clean ... watch out for the currents near the rocks.
Awesome beach !
Popular gorgeous beach !
Beautiful and not overwhelming crowded
Very pretty, but the waves were really rough.
Crowded but people generally keep their distance
Aweee , i miss it and i'll be back
Chilling on weekdays, ghetto on holidays and weekends.
A GREAT PLACE TO BE RELAXED TO FORGET THE PROBLEMS!
A bit more rough than ocean park and isla Verde and more touristy . Rent chairs on the beach on the road in front of Walgreens.
Beautiful beach ????????
Bestest beach . Period.
Public beach , well patrolled by the Municipal Police . Best part: you can bring your doggies (as long as you clean up after them)! Worst part: the undertow can get you if you're not careful ...
Windy beach . Good to relax.
A lot less people than Ocean Park .. And better surf .
Always bring your drinks & music !
Bring a body surf board .
Go by Pinkys for lunch and Di Zucchero for dinner and drinks.
Gitanos two for one on Mondays, Miro half price drink also Mondays. "Small bar for cheap drinks everyday til 5AM. Wednesdays karaoke at "Prime Time", Fridays "zuccheros " get jumping.

Don't give the creepy guy in the bushes water.
Playa cerca pero no es cómoda para disfrutar del agua por el oleaje
Interesante playa , mucho para ver
Mar bravo , vista linda
The best beach in San Juan! Bring your own drinks, chairs and umbrella. Lots of security on the weekends. Come early as it gets packed weekend afternoons. If you want to have lunch head to Pamelas - CaribNews
As a hotel guest you receive a beach umbrella and chairs and the staff will set them up for you. Take advantage ! The sur can be a but rough but it's gorgeous! - Alison
Great beach, soft sand. Strong waves. Food/drink service doesn't start until Noon. - Loni French
You will end up coming to this store multiple times if you stay at any of the nearby hotels/resorts. They have all of the normal pharmacy items and they even have liquor. - Darren Crosby
