You have to book your camping 6 months in advance when they are "On reservation " April-October, but this is a beautiful place to camp and visit any time of the year!
Sometimes the credit card machine is broken so it's cash only . Great beach access and only a little crowded on holidays or weekends. Bathrooms are not super clean but hot showers (.25/2min) are nice.
They charge $10 for visitor parking ... Lately even til 6pm and after. Stay at the free 20 min parking lot right by the gate for a quick swim
