Never disappoints! Wholeheartedly recommend trying the whole roasted suckling pig with a group of friends. Even better if you get a spot in the garden during summer.

It's a fantastic traditional pub with a great atmosphere. You can sit and chat to the locals or have privacy with your friends. If you're lucky you might get to meet the resident puppies.

Don't plan to go there on a Sunday evening to do your birthday on the terrace . They'll kick you out when you start singing happy birthday to your friend because they're scared of losing their licence

The garden is great. They were struggling with the cash machines and the bar tap, which both weren't working but the staff was very friendly and did their best.

The cheese burger was amazing! Not sure what kind of sauce was used, but it was tasty. The buns were brioche-y too

It's a beautiful place but the service is terrible!They forgot 1order and I had to wait for it so my food got cold. My friend's order came out cold. More than enough people serving but not competent.

Lots of space to hang out both in the front and the back, so great for a sunny day.

A tasty cheeseburger on offer, however, be aware that they can run out on a weekend. Triple cooked chips = winning!

Great atmosphere, amazing Beer Garden . I didn't eat but food looked amazing.

The roast suckling pig (need to order in advance) will feed 10-15 people. Has all the trimmings and is delicious.

The Earl of Essex still prevails as the best Sunday Roast in Islington. Had high hopes for The Albion, but it's overpriced and overhyped. Slow service, small portions 5/10. Could do better.
