Magnificent Georgian house with opulent Robert Adam interiors Still a largely undiscovered treasure, and the result of centuries of sophistication and extravagance, Saltram is the perfect family day out: close to Plymouth and yet in a world of its own.

A lovely day out with lots to do and see. The cafe is very nice.
I loved the whole tour of the gardens Beautiful lighting highlighting the silhouette of the trees that makes magic. excellent staff
The house is interesting but the gardens are superb at any time of year, with longer less formal walks elsewhere on the estate.
Excellent for a walk or for an interesting history lesson! Especially nice on a sunny day! Lovely staff & excellent atmosphere!
Really interesting Adams interior. Kids play area and activities are good.
Try the Chapel Tearooms for great cakes and service.
House is beautiful, very interesting, staff were very knowledgable . Cafe was disappointing we didn't get a choice of tea , portions were very small for the price, cake was tasteless.

Plymouths foremost meeting place. The place to visit when meeting anyone! On rare occasions you will find the water filled with bubbles!!! A great spot for teenagers of all types to sit and hang out! - Mat Surtees
