Very Hard to find parking ...Minibus travels every 10’. 1€ per person... Castle has accommodation, Restaurants , cafe bars and souvenirs... Surface paths unstable, requires snickers ....

100% worth visiting - very unique experience. It's a bit of a hike up to the top - takes about 1/2 hour. Wear good walking shoes/runners. Take water bottle. Go early in the morning to avoid sun.

Astonishing medieval town , one of a kind. Takes you to another time. Try to avoid very hot periods, as the rock above it makes it much hotter. Enough stuff to see for two days.

A unique place that is certainly worth a visit. You get a chance to walk in the narrow streets and walls and enjoy the terraces and balconies having dinner or sipping a cocktail .

In the lower town , explore the historic buildings like the Muslim Mosque , a preserved 16th century building housing the Archaeological Museum , as well as the magnificent Byzantine churches .

In the (uninhabited) upper town , you will come across the remains of old Byzantine buildings. A rocky twisty path leads you to the Fortress of Youlás offering an outstanding view of the city .

Definitely worth-seeing: the castle is beautiful and walking through the roads feels like being in ancient times. There are also many restaurants and souvenir shops.

How this is not a UNESCO world heritage site blows my mind. It’s a 1000+ year old castle town , living and breathing as a modern day castle town .

Τι να πει κανείς για το κάστρο ; Οι εικόνες μιλάνε απο μόνες τους!! Μαγευτική θέα και φοβερή ατμόσφαιρα. Θέλει περπάτημα και στρωτά παππούτσια γιατί στο πλακόστρωτο και μέσα στα καλντερίμια γλιστράει!

Είναι μαγευτικός τόπος !! Κάθε γωνία και μία διαφορετική εικόνα. Χαθείτε μέσα στα στενά για να ανακαλύψετε τις ομορφιές του κάστρου...

Η ανάβαση μέχρι την κορυφή αξίζει απίστευτα καθώς η πανοραμική θέα από ψηλά είναι απλά μοναδική!!
