The best service: rooms have been clean and kept clean , the breakfast has been delicious, the hotel 's temp has been cool...all around great stay! Would love to stay here again! (Stayed 3 nights)

I was reading the past tips and was surprised at the negative ones. I travel to Texas City every week on and off since 2012 and stay here often. I have always had good service and enjoyed my stays.

Ice machines are found on the 1st and 4th floors. Soft drink vending machines are on the 2nd and 3rd. All are next to the elevator in the center of the hotel .

Clean rooms . Bad taxi service n Galveston. Something to consider if you stay away from the port for a cruise . I waited over an hour for a taxi to the port . This was after scheduling in advance.

Don't forget anything in your room because this is the slowest elevator in the state of Texas .

Dont come here. Service sucks. Had to be moved from one room to another because we werent getting air. Seriously, save your money and get a hotel on the seawall.

Ok, yuck. Just got in my room & it smells, was put in a handicap room???, & it doesn't seem clean . Go elsewhere! SO disappointed.
