Their BBQ pork ribs are mouth watering. BBQ sauce is well balanced, very good flavors all around. Haven't been disappointed yet. Excellent choice on the central coast.
Been eating at Alex's for 25 years. Beef ribs are amazing! Order a side of steak fries and Mac & Cheese too. You won't be disappointed.
Ask the bartender with the handle-bar mustache for a "Red Butt." It is his signature drink , and it will stay with you for days.

Old ladies with deep smokers voices... Decent but nothing special. I'd leave this joint for the outta-towners and cougars ... And I live across the freeway!
Chris the bartender makes a good bloody Mary , especially if you like 'em spicy .
Decent price or burgers and sandwiches . Watch out for the retired cougars though. And I'm talking really retired.
