The National Gallery houses several important works, mostly by artists from Jamaica, including Mallica "Kapo" Reynolds, Cecil Baugh, Albert Huie, Carl Abrahams, and Edna Manley. It offers research material on Jamaican art and culture, and coordinates educational programmes.
