Visiting both the original store, built in 1883, and the annex (candy !!) located just down the road , is like taking a trip back through time. All sorts of odds, ends and useful things galore.
Such a fun shop to look around in. Found so much cool stuff &a great gift ideas. Definitely must visit.
Looking for a store that sells boots , handmade pottery, penny candy & Grape Nehi? Mast, serving the High Country since 1883, has a little bit of everything & a huge helping of country charm.
It's not a trip to the candy barrel unless you make 3 laps around, to make sure you didn't miss anything of course!!
But of a tourist trap, but definitely worth at least one visit.

Go to the front entrance and you'll see the Hurricanes that has hit and the water levels are marked with a line, date, month, year and name of Hurricane. - J P
