I was expecting a big long street with many shops the display witches & animals. However, it is small short street with less than 5 shops that displays those things.
When a Bolivian Witch hands you a shopping list with an ultimatum, you buy everything on that list. And you do that here.
Smalls street stalls which have ingredients for potions such as herbs and dried animal parts. Be careful taking photos as the ladies may get upset and throw things at you. Always ask first!
Expect difficult bargaining! Price are quite similar in all shops (+-20bolivianos). Most of the "silver " (plata) jewels are fake.
The llama foetuses really stink the place up.

Crowded and messy but one of the largest and coolest flea markets in the world. Worth a trip as it gives you a chance to use there Telefericos which are lovely. - Samir Goel
