Good efficient hotel in near a couple of nice parks and temples . Off the city center but ideal for families. It does have the most complicated shower in the world (I've just voted for this award)

We loved this hotel . Great rooms. Helpful staff . Breakfast was meh. Room service was great. Check out the convenience store on the lower level for cheap sake and whiskey .

Hotel at a pretty central location.. do request for the traditional japanese style rooms(tatami rooms or whatever u call it)..gives u real feel of traditional japan...

the "soy milk skin omelette with thick sauce, kyoto style" is a goer. ask for it freshly made from the chef bar .

while the bed was fantastic, I don't think the rest of the room had been updated since the 1970s

Breakfast and dinner buffet are way to go if you eat in. Staff is friendly and helpful in every way. Great convenience store near garage .

The 9th floor outdoor terrace is a treat :) Definitely recommend speaking with the concierge re renting one of their electric bicycles. Awesome way to see Kyoto!

must-do: rent an electric bike and ride around to all the main attractions . 2000 yen for a full day.

If you're coming from the Kyoto train station , the shuttles pick up every half hour. Queue up in the west end of the station, all other shuttles pick up outside of the McDonald's.

Concierge is excellent & very through. They got us baseball tickets & dinner reservations , they had directions ready for us + communicated any preferences to resturants. Very impressed w/staff.

5 star hotel with everything needed for a five star but with zero charm. Go find a boutique hotel for the same price.

Fancy hotel . Very pricey , but the rooms are nice. Conveniently located, and they run a free shuttle to and from the Kyoto Station , with a stop at the Gion district as well . Staff speaks English.

Great time to come Kyoto! Cherry blossom season. They are everywhere and very pretty to look at. Late March to early April.

If you want great local food from a small family restaurant (4 tables, sit on mat) go to Asuka 2 lights to the left from front of westin.

Moon light bar is prob the best option for a casual drink in a proper bar with a decent view !

They also have traditional rooms that are a bit 'hidden' on the website

Try executive floor or junior suite , luxury suite upon check in. A great deal to upgrade your room. Super!

in room green tea bag is genuine. It's Kyoto. Breakfast buffet is also good.

Check out the view in the lounge on the 10th floor.

Keage metro is nearby. And they have shuttle bus to Kyoto Station

there's a shuttle bus which runs every half an hour from kyoto station (hachijo exit).

Absolutely beautiful luxe hotel tastefully appointed and perfect for the honeymoon.

和テイスト漂うウエスティンです。南禅寺や平安神宮の見渡せるお部屋がお薦め。

SPGゴールド、プラチナだとチェックアウトが16時まで延長できます。ジム は温水プール とマシーンもあり充実していますが空いてるのでお薦めです。ターンダウンはなしでした。

직원들 엄청 친절하네요 룸 업그레이드 해 주었다고 하드만 침대가 크네요 방도 넓고 시내뷰고 ^^

紅葉 シーズンなんでチェックインに時間がかかります。しかも上級会員向けの優先ラインも無く、エグゼクティブラウンジも人が居ない時があるので待たなければいけないところがマイナスポイントです。

지하 1층에 편의점이 있어요. 7층에서 산책로로 연결됨. 부대시설은 쏘쏘.

교토역에서 호텔 로 돌아오는 셔틀에는 기온 시장 , 산조 하차가 가능!

아, 엘레베이터는 한대고 복도는 엄청 길고 많고 안내가 친절할 수 밖에 없는 구조... ^^;

スパ 華頂。温泉 施設があとからできるとはね。広くて快適 。外国人が少ないからかも しれないけど。

佳水園は村野藤吾の建築 。建築 マニアは必見。

京都出版業界新年会で来ております。市長さんも来てます、借景がきれいな宴会場 で、

歴史のある老舗ホテル 。京都といえばココ。
