One of my favorite things as a kid was seeing all the cool exhibits at the airport
This is excellent and well worth the stop as you hustle through Concourse A. Take the time and learn something!
On June 7th, 1942, the Allies won what military historian John Keegan describes as "the most stunning and decisive blow in the history of naval warfare." That's what this exhibit is about.
Even though it is a short display; it honors those that served in the military . It also recognizes the honor to the name, "Midway".
Pkew pkew pkew! Ratatatatat! Vroooooom!
A must see if waiting for a a flight at Midway Airport !
The overhead airplane is the type of dive bomber that won that battle.
