There is a bandstand and cafe attached to the Museum in older times a whale pool and peacock resided at the lower end however the Museum is a good free attraction worth an informed view

Even on a quiet winters day this place is so serene and beautiful. Birdsong can be heard along with the muted traffic but still relaxing. Now I remember why I always ran away to here from GE School.
