Probably the best pub in Edinburgh it has a very good selection of beers , a huge selection of whiskies and an superb wine list also serves great food, heavenly....

An odd wee pub . Beer selection not great but superb whisky selection . Occasional free nuts with drinks. Quirky, old and unique. Landlord very efficient/dedicated, monitors and polishes everything.

Always a good night. Staff are lovely and some interesting decor!

Hanging from the ceiling there are ships, chinese umbrellas, tools, oars and all kinds of bits and bobs. This is one place to revisit a few times to fully take it all in.

You need to ask at the bar for the key to the WC in the gents, wtf? Take the ridiculous set of rules at the front door with a pinch of salt - I went in with a medium-sized backpack, nothing happened.
