Seriously—if you love southern food , this is the restaurant in Boone for you. Get the fried chicken plate with mac 'n' cheese , a mixed green salad (get the cucumber dill dressing !) and cornbread . YUM!
The meatloaf and homemade catsup are about the best I’ve ever had. The collards and macaroni are great sides for this delicious meal

It was not busy at all but took them an hour to get us our food. I got a $5 meal, but a single serving of dessert was $7.50. They didn't have my first choice meal, they had ran out by 3pm. Unimpressed
