My tip is to Carolina Kitchen in the Cap. Boulevard, find a bigger spot. You really have the best food in town but your spot is just to small. Stretch out a lil for your customers sake and more money.

Smothered Chicken is off the chain. Love the spicy greens too and the mac n cheese is homemade good. The potato salad is good but it's too sugary.

Food is amazing!!!! I need the manager to work as hard as the Chefs (no offense), but you have for to figure out the standing and waiting from both sides. We didn't order a side of "butt" w/our food!!

(Ironically, lol) I'm really not a Soul Food fan, but CK's stuff is pretty good. The cornbread ....the ribs ...the cabbage ....the fried fish . Not bad.

Update: Owner says backflow was kitchen sewage, not toilet sewage, limited to small area, and blamed the problem on a plumber clearing a dishwasher drain as inspectors walked in. Passed reinspection
