You should absolutely see this place. I really enjoyed. There is a guy who can make manga portrait of you :)

Great place to visit and spend an afternoon. You can't take pictures inside. But you can read every manga that you can get. Check out the schedule of events and special exhibitions and bring your kids

This is a super cool place to hang and read manga . They have a small international section with manga in EN + a few others. They have an awesome outdoor area to read + a small museum .

They should've called this the Manga Library instead. It's basically a huge Manga café where you can read mangas from all the different time periods. There's one big room with historic information too

English boards litter the display but 95% of the Manga is in Japanese. Worth a look if you enjoy Manga . Better on Weekends as they have live Manga Studios - watch Manga being made.

Almost every visitor is reading in this museum . Amazing

It seems extra interesting for Japanese speakers, as it almost functions as a library . But for non Japanese speakers there's not a whole lot to do.

The third floor has more adult manga (not x-rated, but more interesting fare.) also check out the performance about the precursor to manga , a form of picture storytelling.

A lot of times there are craft booths set up for you to make things or to be drawn manga style by an artist .

Better read Japanese to enjoy fully. Special exhibitions are nice and workshops or portraits on week-ends make it worth your while! ;)

A waste of time if you can't read Kanji! Avoid! Besides, it's not really a museum but more of a library . For a better Manga Museum experience, visit the Ghibli Studio in Tokyo.

Truly Amazing

Most of the books are in japanese only :(

ミュージアム 、とは言うものの、有料で貸し出しのない漫画 図書館 といった感じ。時間制限もないので読みたい漫画 を好きな場所で読むことが出来る。本棚だらけで元が学校なので、廊下が入り組んでいたりで初めて行くと道に迷うかも 。中庭 は人工芝なので、黒いツブツブが衣服につく(払えば落ちるが割としつこい)ので気になる人は要注意。中の特設コーナーでミニ企画展のようなものも実施されている。

800円 で10時〜18時までマンガ を読めるので、そこらへんの漫画 喫茶 よりお得かも 。皆さんがいろんなスペースで無心にマンガ を読んでいる雰囲気が好き。

特に時間制限もないので天気のいい日 に朝イチから行くとネカフェより安上がりなことも。冬以外は天気のいい日 は外でゴロゴロしながら漫画 を読むのが楽しい。京まふ(京都国際マンガ ・アニメフェア)の会場として使われることも。

мы попали под ливень и, раз уж я фанат манги, решили переждать его тут. Сам музей не большой, но интересный. Это скорее библиотека с мангой. Если вы фанат и знаете японский - вам сюда! :)

京都市民なら毎日来ても飽きないと思う最高の空間。1日漫画 読んで過ごせます。館内は元々小学校だったらしく歩くとギシギシいいます。今は鬼滅の刃、じゅじゅつかいせんが大人気で常に誰かが読んでいます。

Lastima que casi todo este en inglés pero obligatorio para el otaku de corazón

貸本屋の蔵書がベースとのことで、古い作品の割合高め。人工芝の上で寝転がって読みたい人はレジャーシート持参が吉です。

漫画 の収蔵数がとても多い。古い漫画 も読める。みんな入り浸って読みふけって、なかなか帰ろうとしなかった。

廃校になった小学校 の壁を漫画 の書棚で埋め尽くすという暴挙。近所にお住まいの方が羨ましい。

入場料800円 とチョット高いが、一日ゆっくりのんびり楽しめる！

天気のいい日 にお庭の人工芝の上に寝転がってゆっくり漫画 を読むのが気持ちいいです♪
