Exquisite! Gold rush meets modern vivid colors and styling. Gives the place a aura of “American Horror Story” in the best possible way. Great service. Large rooms. Great bar and upscale eats at Lola
This hotel has recently been renovated and now stunning and comfortable . The main areas and restaurant/bar are great and in line of the astectic of the area. Highly recommend.
By no means is the National Hotel 5 stars. When we told locals we were staying here they wished us luck finding hot water (we had it). The hotel is antique , and a worthwhile stay for the authenticity .
Showing its age - it's one of the oldest hotels in the country - but pretty cheap , fairly clean and kind of fascinating.
Go for the Tuesday steak and lobstertail special at this gold rush old timey hotel .
