A small selection of Mexican groceries is sold here, including real deal Mexican chocolate tables and some of the best raw quesillo (melting cheese ) that we've had.
Without a doubt this is the best Mexican restaurant in LA; you feel like being in Mexico. The best is the mole , but I tried the Tamal oaxaqueño and is really good. Also horchata water and the nopales
At the various LA soccer pubs , you're lucky to get scrambled eggs and limp bacon with your Cup match. But Guelaguetza is one of the best Oaxacan restaurants in the country ! Try the botana platter! Read more
Classic LA spot. Can't go wrong with the mole sampler platter (it doesn't look like very much quantity when they set it down, but it will fill you up!) paired with a tlayuda .
The nachos and the sauce were delicious. We ordered the horchata and tamarind water. Wow, so delicious. The mole tamal was absolutely wonderful. Great vibes and courteous service !
If you're looking for good authentic mole this is where you need to come. The bright colors in the restaurant give it just the right true Mexican ambience. Also, has live entertaining music after 7pm
The mole negro was so rich and flavorful. I had the mole rojo and it was good too but if you want to try something you can never get anywhere else, bet on black.
Their mole negro is the best I’ve ever had, and the taco de barbacoa de chivo is a gamy sensation. Highly recommended, great atmosphere and live music !
Best micheladas I've ever tasted. Don't forget to augment your protein diet with chapulines , and get an empanada de hongos y queso !! :D
Everything we tryed so far has been amazingly prepared.. I cant stop looking at all the other tables food as well hahaaha
"Pasion de Oaxaca" & "Flor de Piña" with Mezcal El Silencio. Pairing beautifully with a Oaxacan Mole , the best!! Amazing experience!! #MexicanFood #Cocktails #LiveMusic #MezcalElSilencio
For sure get the Mezcal flight. The bartender comes to your table and walks you through three handcrafted spirits . One of our had a scorpion in it!
Don't let the Pagoda and Korea Town neighborhood fool you: the Oaxacan mole , when coupled with the fruit-laden horchata , is as authentic and delicious as it gets. Salud!
Want to beat that summer heat? Ask the friendly bartenders for a La Frambuesita -- raspberries con tequila y Squirt -- and enjoy the chill .
Super authentic Oaxacan food in Koreatown. Try the Festival de Moles , tamales , and enchiladas .
There are few better places to indulgent in complex moles than the massive restaurant that always manages to feel especially festive . Read more
Highly recommend the mole sample platter . When you get to compare them it only deepens your appreciation for the complexity of flavor on your plate.
Not a huge fan of mole but this place is a must! I got the mole plate that was the same mole they put on the chips . Also best horchata I have ever tried.
Mole and mescal ... What more do you need? My favorite Mexican restaurant ... In LA. Oh and also try their horchata
not being an expert in moles , they have four (black, red, green, and yellow) i went with the red spicy colorradito one w pork . horchata (i think pomegranite) which was a funny pink color too.
The mole . I wish this restaurant were in every city in America and that they sent an emissary to every Mexican restaurant to show them how to make mole .
The mole here is the big draw, and rightly so. Big portions , fun vibe for a Mexican restaurant in the middle of K town
Awesome Mexican mole ! Cocktails and drinks are exotic and pleasant. Mole chips and the mole sampler were very satisfying.
Food: Queso fundido , mole sampler , goat burrito , chile relleno . Drink: garra de Tigre & margarita guelaguetza Dessert : chocoflan & Mezcal flan . Do it!!
If you like mexican food this will be definitely your favorite spot. Excellent food and staff ! I recommend.
Outstanding mole with Oaxacan cheese .
Guelaguetza specializes in Oaxacan cuisine and is especially known for their moles .
Great food, good people. I would recommend coming to enjoy and be with friends.
When they are good. They are very good. Have been there about 4 times. Micheladas , black beans , drinks made with mezcal . Read more
Enjoyed the trio music while eating on a saturday morning. Food and fruit waters were tasty. First time there.
The chili relleno is worth a try.
Mole Chilaquiles ! Must try!
The live music is fun. The tylayudas are unique and the mole sampler is great!
I really love the black mole with Oaxan string cheese
You've been fooled! This place actually sucks. (Don't worry, they got me too). Chug down your sweet mezcal marg and bounce down the street for some K-Town BBQ . Enjoy.
The micheladas are great!
Expect great mole , lots of mezcal and nightly live music .
The mole here... so good you could use it as a sauce for ANYTHING
mole chilaquiles , need I say more?
The Best Horchata that I ever had!
This Mexican restaurant in Koreatown has an amazing Mezcal bar . Get a 3-taste sampler!
I don't know if this place is worth the wait. I thought the mole was... just okay; the tamale was the best part of the meal. But I couldn't hear my dining companions over very loud music .
Try "tlayudas " and "caldos " soooo good
Authentic and delicious. The pozole was ????
Hot chocolate , atole, or for the best of both, champurrado.
Don't leave w/out trying out the chocoflan! Moist chocolate cake on the bottom w/ a perfectly cooked flan on top. Yum!! Read more
All the mole is good - I went with the spicy red, but the black is more chocolatey
Black Molé (or any other variety) is the star
Awesome food and fantastic service ❤️
Amazing mole and 2 for 1 margaritas !

One of my favorite concert venues I have been to. The interior is stunning and elegant. There also was security so I felt safe. Only downside is even a PBR was $15! - Michael Morgan
Shot and beer special, cheese burger, onion rings, staff were great - David Skinner
The views are great and the exhibits are awesome. Free too! - Shawn Phillips
