Extremely interesting exhibit . If taking photographs outside remember to use your flash to help get rid of any harsh shadows. Definitely better to visit in the morning so it isn't as crowded .
After being closed for 2wks bec of the partial government shutdown, the Bowfin was reOPENed for business today, 15-OCT-2013! Parking is available at the Rainbow Bay Marina by our back gate entrance!
$10 per adult, decent price, plus you get to walk atop the sub !
Walk to the bow of the USS Bowfin for a good photo op with US flag and the USS Arizona Memorial in the background
Free parking ! Just cruise around n take pic. Don't forget to give thanks ;)
Go to this first thing in the morning while everyone is crowding the Arizona Memorial. The USS Bowfin is, afterall, a submarine. It's not conducive to large crowds.
When there's a long wait , great park to hang in
Very informational. I truly enjoyed it:-):-):-)
The tour is great
Great place to visit and learn about our Navy's history
Respect these submariners. They slept directly on top of torpedoes !
Fun but cramped lol
Hungry? USS Bowfin offers a great deal. Just $3 for hotdog and chips (chili/cheese available).
The technology is very interesting to see. The purpose it was used for is pathetic.

The start of the attack of Pearl Harbor. Tora tora tora as the Jap code words to signal the surprise is complete. One word Wow!! A definite must see for all history buffs! - Gerard Yu
The start of an interesting journey pre-pearl harbor. So many pictures and facts that leads me breathles. - Gerard Yu
An altogether incredibly interesting and also very sobering experience. Get there early (especially if you didn't reserve your memorial ticket ahead of time) and avoid the large tour groups. - Tomiana DeBellis
Worth the visit. You're able to get into a lot of areas for free. Can be quite a maze inside. - Brian
An amazing place to see and visit. Mind you this is not a place where you act foolish and carry on. I loved it so much and was so touched - Joan Dittmer
