The new Empire cinema is a lovely spot now that it's back. Great chill restaurant and bar , good coffee and friendly staff ????

Lovely service, ask for extra white marshmallows they are amazing! Hot chocolate needs to be less milky and brownies fresher. Comfy sofas !

Cool place to visit even if you're not watching a movie !

If the weather's nice, I'll walk out to the Empire from Newtown. It's a pleasant, (mostly) downhill stroll. Then afterwards I'll take the frequent Island Bay bus will take me home.

Glass o' wine on the chaise lounge , even without a movie a lovely way to spend some time.

Don't get the sweet pizza . It's more of a corn flour pie . Not flavored despite the chocolate colour
