This is probably one of the nicest places in the old part of town . The portions they serve here are truly great. A tribute to our portuguese gastronomy .

Take three portions and one side dish for two and you won't be disappointed! Prices half the standard of the 'high street' plus no pushers ! Reservations recommended for the prime time!

Taberna Madeira is a little gem hidden away in the old town . The service is warm and friendly . The food is fantastic and has easily been the best meal during our stay. Recommend!!

Great Seafood tapas , highly recommend the squid , prawns and octopus were good too. The garlic bread starter is too good (careful not to fill up on it)!
