The Fort Saint Jean was built in the 600s and has protected the city for centuries! Its two towers were added later, in the 1400s and in the 1600s; it’s now a majestic symbol of Marseille!
Excellent views especially if you’re willing to go all the way up to the Tower of King Rene.
The fort is in a great state , lots to explore and beautiful views .
