The Playground Theater is one of the country ’s only not-for-profit improv theaters . It's a completely artist-led theater company and features all forms of improv on weeknights. Tickets are $5 & $10.
This theater isn't as consistent as it use to be, but you can always see some of the best up and comers to the Chicago comedy scene.
Intimate setting - occupancy by more than 75 is illegal and only 60 seats. The show was great. Nice cup holders for your BYOB

The "Free Improv Show " was easily the worst $5 I've ever spent. They'd have to pay me to go again.
