Peasholm Park is a lovely Chinese themed park with a lake where you can hire a boat, a bandstand in the middle of the lake that hosts concerts , cafes , places to sit and of course, Navel Warfare.

This is a great park some bits were not open but really interesting and great place to visit. The things to see are great and so peaceful . Plenty of squirrels and birds to see. A must do if in area.

Make sure you are there when they perform the naval battle on the boating lake .

Loads more fun to be had in the summer with boat trips and some live music to set you in the mood for a great chilled time at the park

Leave plenty of time for the Naval Battle - it fills up quickly and early.

Don't bring your fishing rods, I was there for 6 hours before someone came over and told me there aren't any fish in the water

Some attractive landscaped gardens lie beyond the "naval battles " lake
