An interesting place with an extensive mix of Mauritian history, history of the sugar trade and demonstration of the process of producing rum & sugar from the cane. Highly educational and informative

The museum visit is long. I spent an hour reading the history of the island and sugar, by the time I got to the actually historic methods of sugar production I was worn out. The tasting is superb!!!

This used to be a sugar factory , but was since changed into a comprehensive museum on history of the island and sugar production process. Museum itself has bit too much text. Sugar tasting in the end!

Nice museum . Offers good island history overview not just sugar producing information. Staff is good and intearesed about providing service.

There is no tour guide or staff to ask if you have questions in your visit. I didn’t enjoyed the tour as there should be someone to help the visitors.

2+ hours to read everything. Really well-laid out museum . Gift shop is overpriced, if it's your only chance to buy souvenirs it's still quit reasonable.

Very informative museum and had great fun tasting the different types of sugar at the end.
